Turn on a paid version of AVG AntiVirus for Android

This article contains instructions for turning on your paid Android subscription AVG AntiVirus. If you need to enter a new activation code, you can also refer to steps in this article to transfer your subscription from one device to another or reactivate your subscription on the same device.

A subscription purchased through an AVG Android app or through the Google Play Store automatically activates the purchase on the Android device you used to make. log in to AVG AntiVirus with the AVG account registered at the email address given during the purchase process.

Move your subscription to another computer 

Use this option to move your subscription from one device to another if you want to avoid using your AVG AntiVirus subscription on a previously disabled device, and enable AVG AntiVirus on an alternate device. This is recommended if you have reached the device limit for the subscription you purchased, or you no longer use the previously activated device.

Locate your activation code with AVG

AVG Product subscriptions can be bought in a number of ways. Some subscriptions are enabled automatically on the device you are using to make the purchase. Other cases require manual activation of subscriptions purchased through an AVG sales channel, such as the AVG store or an offer within another AVG product.

The simplest way to trigger a subscription manually is with activation code (sometimes called a voucher or subscription code). You will need to trigger it manually if you want to use your subscription on another computer. 

To trigger an AVG subscription manually, locate your activation code at one of the following locations first:

Confirmation Order Email 

If you have purchased your subscription on your PC or Mac via the AVG Store or any other AVG device, locate your activation code in your order confirmation email. 

Open the confirmation email for your order.
