How To Setup Roadrunner Login/Email Account On Moto 1st Generation?

How to add the Roadrunner email account?
- From the home screen, go to ‘Apps’ and click on ‘Settings’.
- Here, search for the ‘Accounts’ menu and click + to add a new account.
- Enter the email account details.
- Enter the name of the email service provider followed by entering the username and the password.
- Your account will then appear in the list of configured email accounts.
If you find the email account doesn’t set up automatically, you can enter the email address and password manually by clicking on the ‘Manual setup’. The steps for manually adding the settings in the field are given here as under:
Email manual settings for Roadrunner login/email account:
- Open Roadrunner email app from the android smartphone. If the app version is not the latest, you can download it from the app store.
- Click to enter the email address and password.
- Tap ‘Manual setup’.
- Now, you need to select the account type i: e, POP, or IMAP.
- Enter the complete email address and the password in the text field.
- Go to account settings and enter these according to what is given in the manual or on the screen.
POP settings:
Account type: POP or POP3.
Incoming mail server: Mail.Rr.com
Incoming server port number: 110
Outgoing server address: mail.twc.com
Outgoing server: The SMTP port number is 587.
Inbound and outbound Username: Enter a complete email address.
Password: The email password is the same as that of the computer email password. If asked for authentication, click ‘Yes’.
IMAP settings:
Account type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: Mail.RR.com.
Incoming server port number: 143.
Outgoing mail server address: Mail.Rr.com. This is the same as that of incoming address, the only difference being SMTP to be prefixed in front of it.
Inbound and outbound username: Enter a complete email address along with the domain name. Take for example Mackin@Rr.com or Mackin@Roadrunner.com.
Password: It is the same as that of the web email password.
SMTP requires authentication: Yes
- Enter the complete email address and the password in the text field.
- Press ‘Next’.
- Go to ‘Account name’ and select the desired username you want to get displayed on the outgoing messages.
- Press ‘Done’.
Your account is now successfully configured on Moto 1st generation. You will get success after implementing the steps.
