Download your Norton product purchased from a retail store
To install Norton that you purchased from a retail store or a third-party affiliated website, you need to create a Norton account or add the purchased product to your existing account.
Add the purchased product to your account and install Norton
From your web browser, go to norton.com/enroll.
Click Sign in.
If you do not have a Norton account, click Create an Account and complete the sign-up process.
In the Get Started page, click Enter A New Product Key.
Type the product key and click >.
Your product key is a combination of alphabetic and numeric characters. It does not contain any special characters.
If you purchased a boxed product online or at a local retail store, your product key is inside the box either on a sticker or printed on a card in the box.
Your subscription begins when you enter the 25-character key found on your product card or order confirmation email.
If you see the message "Invalid Product Key", read Message: "Invalid Product Key".
In the Annual Automatic Renewal Authorization page, update your billing address and credit card details.
Read the Subscription and Automatic Renewal Payment Authorization and click Turn on Automatic Renewal.
Click Agree & Download.
If you have more than one Norton product in your account, choose the product that you want to download and then click Next.
If you are Norton Security Platinum customer, choose the product that you want to install and then click Next.
If the product that you desire to download is not visible in the list, click Load More.
Follow the instructions displayed to Run or Save the Downloader file. These can be different depending on your browser. If you save the file, make sure that you double-click the file from the saved location after the download is completed.
Once the Norton installer is executed, your product is downloaded, installed, and activated automatically. Your device displays its current protection status and additional software can be installed from within your Norton account.

During the setup process, you are offered to enrol in Norton Automatic Renewal. For more details about Norton Automatic Renewal, read Norton Automatic Renewal Service Help.
Sign In to Norton.
If you are not signed in to Norton already, you will be prompted to sign in. Type in your email address and password for Norton, and click Sign In.
In the My Norton window, click Download.
Click Agree & Download.
If you are on a mobile device, choose the subscription that you want to download and tap Next. Tap Get it on Google Play or Download on the App Store based on your device. You will be redirected to Play Store or App Store to install the app on your device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Do one of the following depending on your browser:
For Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge browser: Click Run.
For Firefox or Safari: On the top-right corner of the browser, click the Download option to view the downloaded files, and click the file that you downloaded.
For Chrome: On the bottom-left corner, click the file that you downloaded.
If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
If you already have a Norton subscription, you can install it on your device by signing in to your account.
This problem occurs when there is a temporary system outage or your enrollment is not in a valid state to be enrolled or due to some intermittent errors during enrollment.
To fix this, try refreshing your browser or try enrolling again using a different browser. If that doesn't solve the problem, contact Member Services & Support.
