Microsoft 365 helps you and your family join, work, and learn from home

Microsoft Office 365

We are here to help in that process as everyone adapts to different and innovative ways of living, working, and organizing. We 're excited about Microsoft 365 having more to offer today across free and premium experiences. Here are 6 ways in which Microsoft can help you and your family experience greater efficiency, enjoyment, and ease — throughout your entire lives.

1. Connect with your loved ones and friends over Skype

This is still critical at this time. To both of us maintaining our relationships looks special. It could be wishing a virtual happy birthday to your friend, setting up a weekend trivia night with family, or having a happy hour video with your neighbors. With the Meet Now feature in Skype, connecting with up to 50 people in just a few clicks is easy (free) over video.

2. Become a better writer

During this time, our ability and need to connect hasn't diminished, it just changed. Quick cafĂ© catch-ups are social media discussions now and IMs are chatted with coworkers. Here's where Microsoft Editor can be a great help. Now available in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome as a browser plugin, Editor provides support writing if you're relaying a story on Facebook, writing an email to your child's teacher, or posting on Twitter. Microsoft Editor is your virtual assistant across the web to help you write with greater clarity and conciseness.

3. Discover family, work, and school tools

Thousands of free and paid models are available for use through Text, Excel, and PowerPoint, many of which are" great relevance today. With kids learning from home, we are proud to be providing a range of home learning models such as alphabet flashcards, a Word reading log, or Excel multiplication tables. We have family activity templates including an animal doodle coloring book in PowerPoint and Sudoku puzzle solvers in Excel when you're looking for ways to connect with your kids and family in the home. We offer a wide range of presentation templates as well as resume and cover letter templates for those working from home, or on the hunt for their next job.

4. Multi-task with ease

Outlook 's Play My Emails feature can be a lifesaver for those with plenty going on. Do you take that dog on another walk? Fixing a kid's afternoon snack? Have your emails read to you aloud so that you can effectively multitask? And it's as crucial as ever to remain on top of your schedule in this home/work/life mix that we are all experiencing.

5. Keep a grasp on your to-dos

For the most part, our homes are now a platform much more than they once were. They have been our office, school, cafeteria, fitness center, and living area. Our circumstances and experiences may have changed, but that doesn't mean we can't remain disciplined. You can create the list of groceries with Microsoft To-Do, and share it with your spouse so they can order it. You should make the kids check-off a chore list on their Xbox before time. The exercise routines can be shared with friends. Whatever you need to do, we have you covered.

6. Craft standout presentations

PowerPoint has always been a fantastic resource to help you express your ideas. Now as we digitally share more information and ideas, a strong presentation can make all the difference. Using smart technology, PowerPoint Designer offers beautiful layouts, rich animations, film movement, 3D models and modern icons to make your presentation come alive with just a few clicks. To create high-impact and visually appealing documents, your subscription unlocks access to over 8,000 beautiful images and 175 looping videos, plus 300 fonts and 2,800 icons.
