Uninstalling AVG AntiVirus from Windows 8

1. Ensure no other application or antivirus software is running on your PC.
2. On your keyboard, press the  Win key and X key simultaneously, then select Programs and Features from the menu that appears.
   
3. Right-click AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE, then select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
   
4. If prompted for permissions by the User Account Control dialogue, click Yes.
   
5. Click Uninstall in the AVG Setup wizard.
   
6. Click Yes to confirm the uninstallation.
   
7. Wait while the Setup wizard removes AVG Antivirus from your PC.
   
8. Click Restart computer.
   

AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE is now uninstalled from your PC.
