Norton.com/setup UWP app 1.12 is now available for Windows 10 S

Norton.com/setup UWP app 1.12 is now available for Windows 10 S customers from the MSFT App Store. 

1. What's the version number?

Norton UWP 1.12.758.0

2. What are the changes in this build?

• Inclusion of Privacy Monitor Feature:
  • Privacy Monitor lets you find and remove personally identifiable information (PII), such as name, address, age, and known relatives, from common people-search websites and data aggregators. Removing personal information from these databases can help you regain some privacy and make it harder for others to access this personal information or sell it for marketing purposes.
  • This feature is available in the US only.
    

• VPN Configuration Alert:

• • The first time VPN is configured, the customer is informed through alerts to delete/install certifications. 
    

• Minor bug fixes and performance enhancements

 

3. What countries is the product available in?

Norton.com/setup Security Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app is available to Windows 10 S users from the MSFT App Store. Direct MSFT Store offering is now extended to the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.

In the rest of the countries, the app can be installed with an existing valid Norton Subscription by visiting My Norton portal on a 10 S machine.

Norton Security UWP is now a New Norton.com/setup offers, purchase of the app allows the customer to access the Norton product on other devices as well. 

Note: NS UWP will not be available in China, Korea, Turkey, Malaysia, and Russia

4. What are the operating system requirements?

Microsoft Windows 10 in S mode (32-bit or 64-bit or ARM32 or ARM64) version 1803 and above.

5. How do I download this app?

For customers in the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand, search for Norton.com/setup Security on the MSFT App Store. 

In the rest of the countries, the app can be installed with an existing valid Norton Subscription by visiting My Norton.com/setup portal on a 10 S machine.
